  • Exclude light from Reflection...

    Hello,

What's the way to exclude lights from reflection ?
I know it's possible to exclude or include an object from Illumination or Shadow casting but not in reflection even if you hide the light.

    Thank you for your response

thank you, but if I remove "Affect Specular" that will remove it from all objects in the scene and not only the One which is exclude from lights.

<shrug>This cannot be done currently in a way other than rendering the object in question separately and then compositing the two images.

                Best regards,
                Vlado

In that case, could you copy the light so you have #1 with specular and #2 without specular. Then set light #1 to exclude your large sphere, and set #2 to include only the sphere. I haven't tried it, but I would think it would work...

If it was so simple... Try it... Even if an object is exclude from a light, the light remains visible in reflection

Like Stilgarna, I've many pictures and animations which need "reflection-exclude" and "castshadow-exclude"

that would be great if we can turn these option, On, Off

                      Thanks
