  • VrayPhysCam slows down system

has any one come across this sort of problem?
My comp works great up to the point of puting Vray cam into the scene, when i delete the camera, everything comes to 'live' again!!
I have Dell Precision 490, 2xdual Xeon 3Ghz with 3GB RAM, NvidiaQuadroFX3500.... so memory and power is not to blame.... just the camera slows down everything...way slooooooows down

    any ideas??
    thanks in advance!!

I'm actually have the thing just plain ol' crash max. I can render using it, but as soon as I touch it with the move tool it crashes.

I'll just keep with plain old max cameras for now till they get the bugs out.

There were bugs in the vrayphysical camera and vraysun that could potentially crash 3dsmax; those are corrected for the next release.

            Best regards,

I had noticed a strange creeping-crawling of the vectors in the scene after I've added a Vray camera. Since I'd installed VIZ 2007 and Vray 1.5 at about the same time, I wasn't sure what was causing it.
