  • glossy reflection problem

This is a reoccuring problem I've had with glossy fresnel reflections at steep angles to the camera. There is a sharp line that indicates a threshhold where the surface stops reflecting when it should be continous fresnel falloff. Does anyone have an answer to this?

looks like bad topology to me.

You might try lowering the cutoff threshold in the vraymtl options roll-out

Not a topology issue, I was able to reproduce the same result with a box primative. But lowering the cuttoff worked. Setting it to 0 produces strange white dots but setting it to 0.005 works perfectly. Thanks!
