  • MB question

    Hi all.

    a question: i've play'd around with MB, here are the scene:

    and gets this:


    looks terrible wrong.

    here with scanline:


    am i doing a mistake? checked MB at the Vray-Camera here. with shutter-speed: 1 for high MB.

        lol you guys are funny...
        you get a straight line because your geometry samples are set to 2, which means it only samples frame 1 and frame 2, no samples are taken inbetween. Set your geo samples to 12 to get the arch you want.

              Sometimes I do wonder if people even try to fix theor own problems.. or just set a scene up, it doesnt work then they post about it.

                        my question about both DOF and motion blur is that when you have a physical camera in your screen and dof and mb are turned on then what peramiters from vrays render withs camera section have any effect on the scene. Because the camera should be overriding everything right?

                            none of those moblur settings in the render panel affect the vray camera.

                            You just need to turn on moblur in the vray camera itself, and then the f-stop and shutter speed affect the moblur.. just like a real camera.

                            If you want to use the moblur controls in the render panel you need to use a normal max camera
