The script was updated last year for Vtay 1.5 and works fine. However you can only get it at www.3dcenter.ru You have to join the forum and request membership of the user group to download it. Oh and the forum is Russian only. The author of the script is active on these forums. Good luck

I only scanned this post quickly....what I'm getting is there is an updated material converter script for 1.5 but you have to join the Russian forum and submit a request to get it?

If anybody has it already, would you mind emailing it to me? That would be suh-weet!
