  • Bug Report: VRay Camera, vertical shift, active viewport

I've found a bug with the VRay Physical Camera in 1.5rc2. I haven't tried rc3 so I can't verify if it still exists.

If you are using a VRay physical camera for one of your viewports, and you hide that camera (but keep it as an active viewport), the vertical shift value is ignored in the viewport. Things still render fine, but the viewport doesn't show the effects of the vertical shift value if the camera is hidden.

Yeah, it was reported some time ago; still haven't found the exact reason for this but it's on the list...

    Best regards,

We did an animation a while ago where this was a problem, but it was not a Vray camera. If we rendered the frames while the cameras were hidden, it would not apply the camera correct modifier. It was really screwing us up until we found out what the problem was.
