  • VRayPhysicalCamera spamming Maxscript Listener

I'm not sure if this is to be expected or not, but the VRayPhysicalCamera seems to spam the maxscript listener with updates when I do anything in max, ie even moving the uvwunwrap window causes the listener to print out the VRayPhysicalCamera target_distance data.

The problem goes away when I hide the cameras.

    Is this a bug?

Do you mean the MacroRecorder part of the Listener window? I suppose you can call it a bug, it can be prevented, I think.

      Hi Vlado,
      Thanks for the reply.
Yes it was the macrorecorder part of the listener window. Does it happen to you too?

It makes 'listening' to macroscript commands as you work nigh on impossible as every window move, or mouse click seems to trigger the camera(s) to report its details.

Is it possible that this could slow down the UI?

If you have MacroRecorder ON, then I suppose it is possible. I generally set this to OFF and in that case I don't think it causes any slowdowns. Anyways, like I said, I'll try to prevent this.

        Best regards,

          Thanks Vlado,

Can you let me know when you have a fix for this. At the moment, if I want to do any scripting, I need to delete all vray cameras from the scene.
