  • [RC3] how to use vraylightmat opacity map

    Hello,

how and when do I use the vraylightmat opacity map?
The map seems only to change the alpha-channel of the rendered object and does not work like a mask to the object?
    Is this right?

    Best regards,

    Georg

This is how it is supposed to work, yes. In this way you can create perfectly transparent surfaces that emit light - which you can't do otherwise. If you need the opacity map to mask the emissive color as well, you can use it as the light color map too.
