max 9 vray 1.5 rc3 not working

hi all,

just upgraded one of our boxx machines to win xp64bit.. have max 9 ready to go and installed vray 1.5 rc3 64bit version..

all the vray plugins are failing to initalize...

tried re installing and checking paths.. to no avail!!

HELP please.. very frustrating..

First of all make sure that both 3dsmax and V-Ray are 64-bit versions.

Next, in the root folder of 3dsmax there is a file plugin.ini; make sure the "Main V-Ray plugins" folder is *before* the "Additional V-Ray plugins". Sometimes they come out swapped after the installer writes them.

that was the problem.. swapped the entries in the plugin.ini file and it worked!!!!!

will that be fixed?
