On one of our render nodes here, I suddenly got an error message in Backburner (3.0.2) stating Error:"[V-Ray] Could not obtain a license."
This machine does not have a max license, and the 30 day thingy is over, which is fine for a render node. Obviously I had not set vray to look for our license server on that machine, as it would never need a vray license for net rendering, and to be honest, I have never ever told the other render nodes' vray installations to look for a license either. Why would it do this? Anyone had any similar incidents? The vray license was then set through the utility in the start menu, and now it at least stops spamming BB with the error message, but it never actually completes a frame either.
Correction......while typing, the silly error message returns from this specific machine.
All machines are running 1.5 r2 on max8 sp3 with BB 3.0.2 and xp sp2.
Machine running vrlserver is 2003 server. Vrlserver is running as an app, not a service, and lists only one license in use, my machine submitting jobs, so there should be a few free licenses if it indeed needed one.
Righty....hope someone might know what could be going on.
