  • vray fur related crash

not a real big issue, but is you have a fur object in your scene and want to move the fur from one object to the other and accidentally select a camera instead of geometry, max will crash

    max 8 sp3, vray 1.5rc2

happened to me 3 times in a row in RC3....

i simply selected the fur object, went to mat editor, clicked on get material fromscene and b4 i was able to apply it it crashed.

but this happened only when i used this procedure. maybe it was max related though i dont know

I was referring to the original problem (picking a camera)... I'll take a look at the situation you described.

            Hey Vlado,
Another vrayfur crash, if you apply a vray fur to an object then apply another vrayfur on top it will close max very quickly.

I can't get this in RC3... I know it was an issue in RC2 though.

Hmm, I couldn't get this here on my simple test; does it always happen? Which 3dsmax version?

                  Best regards,
