    Can someone explain this please,
    freshly installed RC3 without PhysCam and VSky

    Check out the < plugin.ini > file in your root folder.

    If the < VRay plugins > line comes before the < MAX\plugins > one, go on and swap them. It should be OK then. Restart MAX.
