  • alpha in refractions

    hi there,

i'am try'n to get an alpha in refractions from matte shadow object but can't get it to work.

try'd with mtlwrapper, or in VRay properties. but it's allway visible in refraction.

here's the scene i've tested with.

i'am just wondering that it won't work, and ask me if it's a bug or volitional.

There is no way around this with matte objects other than to use transparency rather than refraction. Matte objects act as mattes only when viewed directly by the camera; they appear normal for other purposes.
