ah. on your system too. no no. yours definately isnt crappy. guess it needs to start as a service before windows boots properly. but cant you just pull the dongle out then push back in and everythings working fine?

Hey , no fair changing the title of your thread half way through, for posterity note that my calling his computer "crap" was only a tongue in cheek response to his original title of "Is the vray license system crap?" or something close to that. Man I hate revisionists, people trying to do that with history all the time too... :P

there appear to be some more people heaving issues with the service starting automatically. my system also get's a time-out for the service, but i can simply say start service and it works fine (using the dongle, happy with it)

are there new solutions at hand?
