  • Flickering VrayLight reflections

Hi everyone! I was wondering if you can help me.
I have a few Vray lights reflected on glass. When I render the sequence, the light reflections appear to be flickering on the glass. Any ideas? I have tried to increase the reflection subdivisions on the glass material nothing happened.

Please note that the glass has refl. glossiness 1.0 and subdivisions 20 interpolation is off..... any ideas??

    Thanks

try setting the reflection cutoff to 0 in your material, see if that helps

Can you post some images of the flickering region?

      Best regards,

Here is one frame from the animation. You can see the reflection of the square lights one the glass left.

Ok then; what are your antialiasing settings?

          Best regards,

            Here you are Vlado,

            Image sampler is Adaptive subdivision

Antialiasing filter is on and Area with size 1.5

Adaptive subdivision image sampler settings are

            Min -1
            max 2

Clr thres 0.1 and Randomize samples on

So you can try either 0/2 for adaptive subdivision sampler, or the Adaptive QMC sampler.

              Vlado
