What is causing these white dots? I have been PhotoShoping them out, but I would like to avoid them.

They are usually caused by a stray reflection ray hitting the sun directly or through one or more other reflections. Mostly you can avoid them if you make sun invisible.

In the real world, these dots would correspond to sun "glitter" on reflective surfaces.

Any errors in the vray log? just incase.

Althought it is most likely the sun issue that vlado mentioneed.

with the amount of time ive seen threads marked "spots" or "blotches" someone should do a rendering of a tube of vray cream thats designed to help clear up the spots and blotches hehe
