I have a strange thing here.... I had my sun/sky with vraycam setup and looking good. I kept working on my model and did a test render and the scene became washed out. I adjusted the shutter speed to darken the scene, did a test, and it looked good. I kept on working and did a test render again and it was to dark. I am doing nothing with the sun/sky or camera so why would things change on me?

if your importing textures from other scenes you need to be careful as vray will import an extra vray sun as well if certain circumstances are met. (depends on what vray version you are using as well)
So check for multiple vray suns. that would explain the extra brightness.. the darkness however... no idea.
