  • Quality RenderElements

    Hi all

We encounter problems using the render elements (when we can extract them ) .
We use the channels in photoshop compositing and for now, it's not reliable.
Is there something we can do to increase the quality of them ?

Here is the render, looking fine for us :

    But, the DiffuseChannel :

    Here, our render parameters :

    Thanks for your help

Arno, did you render the channels separately from the main image?

    Best regards,

you could try ticking 'object outline' and 'nrm thresh' and see if that helps....

vlado> We render all in the frame buffer.

sv> That was the clue... It works very much better.

        New users... still discovering.
        Mucho thanks for your help.

It seems to work well on RGB Channels, but not for the integer channels as RenderID or 3dVector as Normals.

Is there a possibility to increase the quality of these ?

          Thanks for your help.

Integer Channels are not antialiased at all. You might wanna try using wirecolor instead.
