  • Vray Blend Material + Mask...

    Hello,

I'm using vray blend material for the the tooth shader and I need to make a color mask :

    http://www.kdgnet.net/demo3D/Fabien/...stCoupe002.mov

But I can use vraylight material or standart mtl for making a self ilum with red and blue (for example)

Is there a solution or do I need to build the mask with a composite ???

    Best regards...[/img]

Well, there's a solution for post - you can use object ID channel from render elemetns (assign this ID by selecting object and right clicking, then object properties->G-buffer object ID). As the result - you will have color masks of objects. Or use material ID instead...

P.S. Don't forget to check "use filtering" (if you don't use feather in post)
I just can't seem to trust myself
So what chance does that leave, for anyone else?

Ok, but not very friendly user... Because I have to do the job "twice"...
Id material ins a good idea but I prefer to see a Material pass... instead...

On color per material... not per id...

      Best regards...
