  • oh Christ, bitmap not saving- Urgent

have a job that is due in a few hours, getting errr saving bitmap, I know its a memory problem, so I re-rendered it using Vlado's tips and saving a vrimg file, went to get the tool vrimg2exr from site, cant find it, thought it was a stand alone tool? under pressure with other renders of same job,
ok just found the tool (never look there normally)
how do I use this tool?
    Thanks,
    Tom

when you are okay with the default settings you can simply drag and drop the vrimg file on the exe.

one way is to open the folder where the vrimg2exr.exe is located (usually c:\program files\chaos group\V-Ray\3dsmax RX for xXX\tools) and drag-drop the .vrimg file on top of it. This will create an .exr file with the same name as the original file (but with the .exr extension) in the same location.

      Best regards,
      Vlado

normally if your bitmap isnt saving it is due to a memory problem. Rendering a scene with standalone, or with backburner will alow you to save a frame.
