  • Matte Shadow problem

Hi guys, I am sure there's an easy answer to this, but I can't find it.

I have a background scene which has been rendered off already.

I am trying to render out some people walking through the scene. I am trying to render them using a matte so I can composit in Premier.

When I use the Vray renderer, the characters' shadows appear, but the path they are walking on also appears in the render. (Image below)

I want it to appear as in this image rendered using the scanline renderer

As you can see, the character is casting a shadow, but the path isn't showing in the alpha channel.

I need to use Vray to render these out as the camera focus is essential, and all that has been done in Vray. If anyone can help, I am urgently in need of it!

    regards

    Ken
