  • Backburner Error Message

    Hi,

Dont know if anyone can help me, i sent a render through backburner which had a error. The error message did not make any sense to me as it read '' @#$ missing message : 1151 $#@ ''. I have spoken to the reseller of max and they did not recognise this message as a backburner problem, but maybe bacause vray has had a problem.

Has anyone else had this problem ??????

    Pease help if you can,

    Regards

    Tony

Sounds to me like backburner is telling you exactly what it means. It wanted to generate an error message, but the text of the error message is missing. I'd reinstall backburner.

We are seeing this as well, any help would be appreciated.
We just installed Max 9 with Vray 1.5 and it's all 64 bit.
The machines are all 64 bit as well.

yeah sounds like you need to reinstall backburner to display the error message properly. What version of backburner are you using?

In another thread it seems to point to missing maps...is there a way to disable this shut down if maps are missing in Max 9 files, this was not a big issue for us before.
          Cheers

We had some similar crazy backburner issues recently too and did a complete UNINSTALL + reinstall of the latest version update and everything cleared up. 2008.02 or something like that.

Our issue was missing maps, unchecked "check for missing files" in the Vray system area and the file rendered with out issue.
