  • Dark Corners in Animation

    hi folks

we get some problems while rendering frames out of an animation.
it's all about camera flythroughs, no objects moving, so we decided to
    use precalculated LCs and IMs.
take a look at the pic. you'll notice dark corners (marked).
the LC subdivs are set to 6000 with a size of 20cm (world scale) for a 600 frames animation.
is there a solution to avoid those dark corners?
    thanks in advance.

There is a "blur GI" parameter in the irradiance map settings... it should be 0.0, otherwise you might get things like these.

ene.xis: detail enhancement will not produce dark corners like these. It is not a simple AO pass, instead it will do a more accurate GI calculation.

        Best regards,
        Vlado
