it tells AE to blend layers in linear space, otherwise it'll use the project color space (which, by default is none). so, unless you load a linear color space, having linear blending off won't produce correct results when multiplying, adding, and so on layers.

Im wondering if I should use EXR but 16 bit versions. Im assuming AE will comp them together OK?

Having Object id's would be v useful so Rla/Rpf could be better. Ill have to look to see which of these is better.

      Thanks

This way you could render out some mattes for cc later on.

        Hi Dieter,

first of all thanks for sharing this plugin and compliments for your work. Nice shots on your website !

I installed the plugin it without problems.
Now it would be great if you could post a simple scene with the plugin to show it in action. I´m a noob concerning compositing

        Thanks in advance

        Klaus

Ive now got a working solution within AE rendering out 8bit tga files, gamma 1, comping them using ADD and putting an adjust layer on top with gamma .4545. The comp matches the RGB output exactly.

BUT! I am now trying the same method but within Photoshop. And they are not comping together correctly. Does any one have any help for using the VRimg with elements and putting together in PS?

          Thanks
