    Hi there,
i'am rendering a simple animation, where a object turns 180° quite quick around his own axis. but when i'am turning on motion blur, and increase the geom.samples to more then 2, max crashes without a error message.
the strange thing is that max crashes during lc calculation, but memory didn't overrun 1,6GB. there're 128.000 polys in complete scene.
    i'am using max9 32 bit on windows 64 with 3 gb RAM.

    any tips?

    best regards
    Jonas

usually if max just quits out it is memory related. Nothing showing up in the vray log? found in c:\

Have you tried to do the exact same thing on a simple scene with maybe a box and a plane?

      hey mate,
nothing in logfile, and 1.6GB of memory isn't enough to crash for max or?
i've try'd with a box, and renders without a problem.

is the LC preview ON or OFF?
        Try turning it off.

              Sorry for the delay,
ja try'd both allready, static and dynamic. just running a test without displacement. see if that works.
