I'm thinking of upgrading to a dual processor - quad core system ( 8 cores ) total. Does vray have a maximum number of cores it supports per workstation?

Nope, there is no restriction whatsoever.

I didn't think it did, I seem to remember reading about a theoretical 256 core limit or summin. I wouldn't worry about that for a while though!

There is a chap with 8 dual core opteron... so 16 cores
Which sadly gets beaten by an 8 core intel.
