  • realworld uvw-mapping and displacement

displacement doesn't seem to work when using real-world size uvw mapping, which is quite handy.

Is this 3d displacement or 2d?

      Best regards,

2d displacement...used for roof tiles, etc.

Is this problem resolved yet ? Ive just applied real world uv mapping to a particular object (fairly complex piece of jewellery) and it just seems to be sitting on lightcache and not doing much else..

i posted this issue a while back... it has never worked for me. I just use real world to set the scale and them I switch back to non real world to render.

Ive actually just managed to get it working. I think all I did was make sure that real world scale was on for both the map and the uvw coords. Works fine now.
