  • Correct glass in Multisub?

We work a long time on Vrrr 1.47.03. We would like to jump to 1.5 because of many new features.

The biggest problem for us is that "affect alpha" of VrayMtl is not working in multisub slots. (The strange trick with VrayBlendMtl for "affect shadows" is also funny.) We have a lot of objects prepared with its Multisubs and it would be highly unefficient to recreate library for correct alphas and shadows.

I would like to ask, if there will be some new RC of 1.5 which will be OK?
I suppose that demo version is newer then commercial one?
    Is there some explanation?
The bugs are known and there is no official release for a longer time then a half a year?
    Are we questioning that alone?

    We like using V-Ray.

Thanks in advance for your answers.

Vlado has said that a new release is coming soon ( and this time I believe him ) I suspect it will coincide with Siggraph at the beginning of next month. Not sure if will be an updated RC or the fabled 1.50...

Of course you can always email Vlado, explain to him the issues you are having and ask for a buld that fixes your problem.

I've sticked to RC2 for a long time with to avoid this issue. Now I've switched recently, but I pay attention to this bug when making my mats....

I hope a fix (RC5?) will be out soon
