Dome Camera

Greetings,

I'm having problems rendering with the new Dome Camera. I just got the latest 1.5 installed and wanted to to test it out. Every time I render with it Max crashes. Does not matter if it was a clean scene or existing. Any ideas?

It crashes here as well, is all I can say. If the fix is easy, I'll upload in on the server to replace the current one in the installation.

Using the dome camera in lieu of the fish eye would make allot of people in the planetarium world very, very happy!

So you can download an update for the dome camera specifically here:

http://www.spot3d.com/vray/misc/vray...era_update.rar

Just replace the file from the original installation with the one for the corresponding 3ds Max version from the archive.

This update will be added to the V-Ray installation itself sometime next week as well.

This is a huge reason why vray is so great (and these forums too). I don't even use the dome camera(and probably never will) but the attention to users needs and problems is fantastic.
