  • Camera Animated Focal Length and Lightcache Flythrough Calcs

It doesn't appear from the preview window that Vray is taking into consideration animated changes of the focal length when precalcing a flythrough lightcache. It only takes the first focal length and uses that throughout.

However, I don't know if this really matters or makes any real difference. I assume that you would have either more or less lightcalcs towards the end of an animation.

Is this with the V-Ray physical camera or a standard one?

    Best regards,

Might be worth just calcing with the widest lens angle to cover the biggest area?

Vray Physical Camera. The flythrough lc/lc calc used to show all the calcs together in one screen (indecipherable visually.)

Now with 1.5 it shows the last frame as preview and it doesn't match up with a changing focal length or perspective correction for a regular still processed at that frame.

Perhaps this is the correct behavior in the 'world' but the calcs doesn't match up with what the camera sees if changed. The renderings however still look pretty good.
