  • Interpolation vs Not - Drastic color differences?

    Hi,
I've been using interpolation with SSS to get a quick preview, but since I need to render an animation I've switched interpolation off. The results are VERY different and much brighter.

Does interpolation cause materials to be darker in general?

Ideally it should not cause differences in the brightness of materials.

Are you using GI in your scene as well?

    Best regards,
    Vlado

Yes I am using GI also. Irradiance and light cache. The material light multiplier is set to 15. When I turn off interpolation it goes really flat and looks a lot brighter.

Would it be possible to get me a simple scene to vlado@chaosgroup.com with that material so that I can check what may be wrong.

          Best regards,
