1k IR map when autosaving and manually saving

Hi all,

This is a new problem which seems to have started randomly recently.

So, I render out a single frame IR with autosave turned on. I notice 6 hours in to the calc the saved IR file was only 1k big. As I know the IR samples should be saved as it goes, this is not right. So I stopped the render half way and saw the status of the IR in the render dialogue was showing the file as 7.1meg. I save the file manually and its still 1k, empty!

Is there a possible reason for this? The weird thing is I have about 6 other computers making IR maps and they are all fine. I cant think of anything that is different between the file to cause this.

Are you saving to a network drive? Is there enough disk space where you are saving it? Try saving locally or to a different hard-drive and see if there is any difference.

First I tried to a network drive, loads of space, and its 1k, and then to a local drive, again loads of space and still 1k.

Its a weird one!
