Sun selection, viewport right click error

    Sun selection, viewport right click error

    Could someone who is Maxscript savvy please help me with this. Every time I have the V-Ray Sun selected and right click in a view I get a macro error with the following highlighted:

    ((obj.globalIlluminationByLayer and not obj.layer.isGIExcluded) or

    If anyone can help with this I would greatly appreciate it. (Because it's driving me nutz )

    Do you use 3ds Max 2008? Is the VRaySun a part of a Daylight system?

        Ah, ok, max 8; looks to be fine in 9 and 2008 though. I suppose the only way around it would be to modify the script that pops up so that it first checks if the light has these properties before accessing them. I'll try to see if I can come up with something.
