If you use standard lights, you can use their shadow density parameter to lighten up the shadows. (If you use V-Ray shadows with these lights, you will need to turn off their Transparent shadows option).

Here ya go...I just have the vray sun....So I turned it off...Hmmm..I just saw that GI Environment (skylight override) is OFF, but when I chek it, I have a bitmap in the slot...Not sure why I did that....But could you explain a little....What does that checkbox do, and should the vray sky be in the box...etc....What if I want a picture to show up....Thanx again...Hey...almost 500 posts...What do I get?Last edited by EricCamper; 21-11-2007, 07:15 AM.

Dump the VRAY sky into the Environment slot in the VRAY environment over ride and you should be good to go. This works with the VRAY Sun so you will need both setup in your scene to have it work properly, and you will have to use a VRAY camera.
