Render elements - read/write error

Hi All,

Just had this error start since loading Sp1. Its happening when I submit an IR prepass to the network with BB. It renders the IR prepass then errors;

Task error: Could not read/write file type: C:\Program Files\Autodesk\3dsmax8\renderoutput

I have narrowed this down to the fact that I have some render elements set up for when I render the image sequence, and they are messing up the IR prepass.

Is this a vray error or max? Is there a way to change this to work? Maybe disable the save location in the elements tab?

Damn! I have just realised what the problem was!!!!

It was the fact that the render save location in max's render output tab was set to ...3dsmax8\renderout

It was not ticked to save the image but because the location was invalid its crashing. Fixed now!!

Ill go hide in the corner now.........
