  • Another displace problem

    I have a simple plataform with a vraymtl 50% gray and a displacement modifier with a tile map.

    I get this splochy image. I've tried with 2d and 3d displacement.

    Only is fixed whe i turn off the "use irradiance map" option of the material, but this slowdown the render a lot.

    What can i do to fix this?

    Is your platform is made by adding an extrude modifier to a closed spline? If it is you could try changing your capping from morph to grid.

      The problem seems to be the "check sample visibility" option in the irr map rollout. If i uncheck this the problem disapear.
