We just installed SP1. I was hoping the Viewport bug was solved. Alas no. Although now it just freezes the program rather than outright crashing it. I REALLY want to be able to use DirectX. Even if it meant vray maps don't shade. I realize I could manually turn them all off. But if you miss even one...not worth the crash risk.

Thanks for the info. Talked it over with my boss, we'll wait for the next official build. It doesn't stop work, but it slows down certain things because directx is 2-3x faster than opengl at least on our comps. When I get alot of things in the scene, sometimes it'd be nice to be able to use it, but not really necessary.Jeff Adams - Freelance Architectural Illustrator
