Hello,
I noticed that Vray doesn´t render Gradient Ramps correctly.
Not a big problem actually...
I use 3dsmax 2008/ 1.50 SP 1
Notice the black spots on the white part of the sphere.

Anti aliasing makes it better but they are still there

With displacement applied it is even more noticable (This is how I came across this)

This is the same setup but I used the "Blur Gradient" Plugin

I tried different kind of mappings, without success.
With the scanliner it looks ok.
