  • proper way to show lights

In my recent scene, I have some can lights in the ceiling. What is the proper way to use a vray light in this case? Do I use a sphere vray light and put it inside, or a vray plane and have it pointing down? And are the settings different for each light. I am using the plane now, but it makes sense to use a sphere I would think. But I get different results. Just looking for some input.

    Thanx all

If you're after maximum realism, sphere seems to be the good way to go, since you need the reflection of your lightsource to appear in the reflector properly, otherwise your lamps will look dull.

    Best regards,
