  • Turbo Smooth

    Hello,

I am working away on a project and all of a sudden I hit a wall.... By render times go crazy and my model freezes hourly. I thought my issue was vray proxy, but it dawned on me the I added a turbo smooth to my site, which caused a project of mine last month to do the same. Is there a known issue with TurboSmooth? Any way to fox this? I tried removing it from the stack, but it seems the problem stays. Help!

Is this just me or has anybody else experienced it?

this could be not turbo, but a combination of things. But without a more specific example, a scene that demonstrates it, its really hard to determine.

        Bobby,
Try starting with a fresh new scene, and merge everything in from your old scene. Reset your render settings and save. If you compare file sizes, you might find your new scene to be smaller. It seems that scenes tend to get bloated with unnecessary information after awhile. We've also noticed speed increases after doing this.
Hope it works for your scene,
