matte shadow problem

hi all,
after using matte shadow (from vray properties: MATTE OBJECT: -1 / DIRECT LIGHT: SHADOW: CHECK / AFFECT ALPHA: CHECK) over object... i have problem with "shadow" in PS .... object shadow is not black - shadow looking grey

soft:
3dsmax 9 (sp2)
vray 1.5

render settings:
vraysun+vrayphisycal camera

Can you show an example, shadows are usually gray if affected by GI. Or blue or purple...

In photoshop you can probably adjust the levels of the alpha to get a stronger shadow.

yes, but i want my natural shadow like no matte object
