OPENING EXR from VRIMG >> fullimage alpha

Whenever I convert the VRIMG to EXR and try to open it in Photoshop, I get a blank image. I know that this is to some applied alpha which covers the whole image, since opening the image in Aftereffects (ignore alpha), I get the desired image.

It's just an awkward workaround ...

Are there any settings in Photoshop to ignore the alpha ?

You can try this version of vrimg2exr, which will not generate an alpha channel when you extract a render element:
