  • Problems with groundwiz planter and lattest vray builds

    Hello.
It seams that groundwiz planter has some issues with the lattest vray builds.
Also I don't think the floating point issue (where there would be artifacts is some mesh point was in a exponential format) is still there...right?
I'm very frustrated with all this stuff because I really need planter because I'm working on a large outdoor scene...and I also works a lot with rhino...wich seams to generate a lot of problematic floating point coordinates.

Did you had any contact from gugila guys? They replicated the problem I said it only happens in the lattests vray builds.
Also because of all this I have upgraded to xp 64 bits...I don't have any previous vray builds for xp64.
Can I get some older versions? I would like to have gwplanter working...but I don't know in wich version it had problems.

Is the any chance this issues would be solved soon?

    Thanks

What kind of issues are you having (e.g. crashing renders, artifacts, slow rendering...)? If it is image artifacts can you post an image?

      Hi Vlado!
It just hangs for a very long time when "transforming vertices..."
Also when using an option in gwplanter for creating instances for the planted proxies it hangs with cpu at 50% and and I never waited to see if it completes the operation or not because it takes a very long time.
I called gugila and they could reproduce this but with earlier vray builds it worked fine.

        Hi RSF

did VRay SP2 sort your problem with Groundwiz, or it remains and issue?
        Kind Regards,
        Morne
