I saw this thread, http://www.chaosgroup.com/forums/vbu...+read%2F+write but it's solution does not apply to my problem: however i am getting pretty much the same error.
"could not read/write file type c:\documents and settings\administrator\my documents\3dmax"
The slave in question has no problem reading and writing to that directory and it does exist, there are no render elements in use.
woa: interesting, I've just noticed that the file has saved out just fine even though it seems like back burner would have it re rendering over and over again (there are two errors).
also it means the slave was stuck on the render over night and didn't move on even though it was done.
