another DR issue

I have 3 dongle and can render in DR useing 30 spawner in max8 max9 32/64bit using vray RCx final and SP1
all fine so far
but max2008:
all spawner fail if more then 10 are linked for DR
using 10 for DR sometimes I get a "spawner not responding" warning but after a few they jump in and participate the render

latest lic. server and no mix of 32/64bit for DR
any idea why max8/9 working but no 2008?
