    This is weird.

I have been using DR for quite a while without any trouble and suddenly I couldn't make it work. I then checked with backburner and it said it could not obtain a license for vray. i then looked at the licensing settings and the number was wrong for the localhost on both of my machines I use as DR slaves. I did not change this at any time. ??? why would this happen? any ideas? (I have changed the number back to the right one and it works fine now)

    so weird.

    Thanks

Which number was wrong? The IP address or the port number? Is it possible that you installed some other V-Ray version in the meantime?

    Best regards,

the request for IP address for the license server jumped up two numbers ***.***.*.103 to ***.***.*.105
      on both machines.

Now i can't remember what the license servers number was originally so It's number may have changed and not the slaves request number. Which makes more sense as I'm always fiddling with the license server machine. But the whole thing makes no sense to me.

Nope, I haven't installed any new version of vray

      thanks
