  • Problems with motion blur/sphere fade

Been animating a car and I noticed what seems to be a bug. The camera moves at the same speed as the car - linked, so according to the motion blur my car is static, the background moves and the wheels rotate.
I'm rendering out a seperate pass for the wheels so I can up the motion blur samples (because I forgot to first time round) but the sphere fades I attached to the wheels arent being blurred correctly.

An image of what I mean:

They travel at the same speed as the wheels/camera and dont move much in the rendered frame, so it shouldnt be picking up on their movement down the road.

I've never used this feature before, however I'm geussing the problem is that the spheres are rotating with the wheels, instead of just moving with them?
Try linking the spheres to the body of the car instead of the wheels. (I mean keep them in the positon you have it, but link them to the car body)
    Kind Regards,
    Morne

Hmm, the problem is that the VRaySphereFade atmospheric doesn't do motion blur on the atmospheric gizmos. So you'll just have to make them large enough to encompass the wheel trajectory. I will look into it though.
