modeling photo prob

Hey guys

i have one photo en need to model it. how can is setup my view for a perfect modeling start.
i posted the picture with it so you can see what i meen

well i would print out eh photo as reference and start with the walls. with these walls you can see if you dimension/scale is correct.
then i would go on with modelling of the stairs
