I'm getting sporadic, but reproducible when they happen, render failures in the following situation:
-Rendering a region
-on a single machine (interactive or backburner)
-using the VRay framebuffer
-To write to .EXR
Rendering to .VRIMG has not failed yet (although I have done that a significantly smaller number of times), nor does rendering without saving and manually hitting the save icon in an interactive render. The failure comes after the LC and Irradiance map are finished, when the first actual buckets are trying to render.
I have a feeling it has something to do with the region edges not aligning to some idealized grid in the VFB, as moving the region edges can make the problem go away.
Note that this is on SP1, WinXPx64, Max 9 SP2, Q6600 with 4GB; I was reluctant to change versions right before sending off the finals of my current project.
