In past I wasn't using DR. I decided eventually to try it and is it only me or using mapped network drives for textures doesn't work and I have to copy used textures to every machine that is rendering? (I tried copying textures and it works of course but it's very inconvenient for me to work like that).

Ok I found the solution for this problem. I don't know if ti was mentioned before but anyway here it is. If you're running dr spawner as service, unregister it and just start it manually from .exe file. (you can put dr spawner into your startup folder so it starts automatically when you render slave starts).Luke Szeflinski

Plus I don't have to login to 24 different machines to render a scene.

I know this is an old thread but im having exactly the same problems. I have recently had error messages trying to start the vray license in the startup folder (Choasgroup are currently helping me out with that). Therefore my only other option is to have the vray server start as a service, which is all fine, until I use DR. I have 2 folders shared on my main computer that all other network nodes can see, but it still will not render using the maps in those shared folders. Are paths are network paths. Are UNC paths different ? If so, how do I set them up ?
